Overview
World2Door is a UAE client's cross-border commerce platform that lets customers buy from global catalogs and have items delivered to their door. Artikate designed and developed the entire platform end-to-end in-house — storefront, multi-currency catalog, cross-border checkout, duty/tax calculation and shipment tracking — with no third-party SaaS like Shopify.
The Challenge
Cross-border commerce is hard: multi-currency, multi-region catalogs; customs and duty calculated correctly at checkout; parcel consolidation and tracking across multiple carriers; and fraud and security controls robust enough for international payments.

The Solution
We built a custom Next.js storefront over Node.js and Python microservices, with a real-time FX and duty engine, carrier integrations feeding a unified tracking view, secure multi-gateway payments, and an event-driven order-and-fulfilment pipeline — all on hardened infrastructure with end-to-end CI/CD.
